I'm sorry but IHOP in Elizabeth City gets a "D" with me. The only thing that saved them from an "F" is that the server was nice. I ordered a big steak omelette combo with pancakes. It arrived in a decent amount of time but I ordered it before and it has tasted better. By far that wasn't the worst part but in the middle of my lunch I heard a manager "cut" servers in the middle of a crowded dining room and then they proceeded to argue about it front of people. I have worked in the food service industry for years and my jaw dropped when I witnessed this behavior. The worst part was that management was present and they allowed this behavior. IHOP use to be one of my favorite restaurants but now I hardly ever go there.

Good Southern Cooking
The island breeze grill has quickly turned into my new favorite restaurant in Elizabeth city. There food has beyond exceeded my expectations and there vibe you get from being there makes you feel right at home. They support the arts in the community while embracing there natural roots. They definitely represent the best of art and food.
Queso Sticks
Big daddy's pizza newest appetizer is a creative twist on mozzarella sticks. It is breaded with red, black , and tan tortilla chips; filled with yellow queso cheese and served with a traditional marinara sauce.
